A new AARP Foundation study shows that 8.8 million older adults face the risk of hunger – meaning they are forced to skip meals or buy poor quality food. Donations are needed.
Interfaith Ministries Modesto California
For over 30 years, impacting hunger has been, and will continue to be a focal point of action for IFM. IFM Food Pantry distributes bags of groceries the equivalent to 123,000 meals per year. Residents that live in Modesto, Ceres, Empire, Salida and Waterford who meet program criteria are eligible to receive groceries, baby food and infant formula.
Nineveh Outreach
Nineveh Outreach was founded in 1997 to address the pain and sorrow of the discouraged and disadvantaged in the City of Modesto through providing groceries, clothing and medical assistance. Since then, Nineveh Outreach has grown to twenty locations in ten different cities in Northern California.
Center For Human Services
